Rose moves to 33rd in world rankings

06/07/2010 - Philadelphia, PA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Justin Rose earned his long-awaited first PGA Tour win on Sunday at the Memorial Tournament and jumped from 66th to 33rd in this week's world golf rankings.

Graeme McDowell collected his fifth European Tour victory and moved from 44th to 36th this week.

Tiger Woods held on to the No. 1 spot with his 19th-place finish at the Memorial. He was again followed by Phil Mickelson, Lee Westwood, Steve Stricker and Jim Furyk to round out the top five.

Ian Poulter and Ernie Els traded places again this week with Poulter returning to the sixth spot and Els slipping to seventh. Luke Donald inched up a notch to eighth, which bumped Paul Casey down one to ninth.

Rory McIlroy held steady at No. 10 was followed again by Anthony Kim, Martin Kaymer, Robert Allenby, Padraig Harrington, Camilo Villegas and Zach Johnson.

Retief Goosen moved up one to 17th and Geoff Ogilvy was down a spot to 18th. Y.E. Yang improved two places to 19th and Lucas Glover held steady in 20th.

Yang's move knocked Hunter Mahan out of the top 20, as he fell from 19th to 21st.
